World Heritage Site

World Heritage sites that have been claimed by UNESCO

some of which are as follows:

1. Minaret and Archeological of Jam

Located in the western part of Afghanistan. precisely in the area of Ghor, or by the river Hari.

2. Suomenlinna

Is a sea fortress located in the capital of Finland, Helsinki. This fort was used when the defense of Russian expansion.

3. Borobudur

A relic temple Buddhist kingdom of Syailendra, is situated in the center of the island of Java.

4. Ambohimanga

A traditional royal hill located in the Northwest of the capital Antanarivo, Madagascar.

5. Schokland

A famous medieval settlement and also was once an island located in the suburbs of Noordoostpolder, Netherland.

6. Changdeokgung 

Changdeokgung Palace, a palace built by the kings of the Joseon Dynasty, located in Seoul, South Korea.

7. Tower of London

a solid and well-known castle in medieval London, England. Built by William the Conqueror.

8. Mir Castle

A magnificent palace or castle of relic renaissance Karelichy, Belarus.

9. Pirin National Park

located in the southwestern part of Bulgaria, with the main icon is the Pirin mountain.

10. Dinosaur Provincial Park

The park with a collection of fossils of ancient animals in the world. Its location in Canada, specifically in the state of Alberta.

11.  Longmen Grottoes

Longmen Grottoes, one of the cultural relics of Buddhist art in China. Located in Henan Province. there are 100,000 Buddhist statues in the caves totaling 1,400 pieces.

12. Venice

An important city in Italy, at once the capital of the region veneto. The city has a thousand canal and the lagoon.

13. Palenque

Also called Lakamha, a relic of the Mayan civilization that debuted in the 7th century is located in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.

14. Bahla Fort

A solid fortress in Arabia or Oman. occupied by supporters of the caliph Harun Alrasyid.

15. Bolghar

Former royal capital of Volga Bulgaria. Located in the district of Spassky, Russia.

16.  Polonnaruwa

An ancient city of Buddhist heritage in rural Sri Lanka.

17. El Jem

Also known as Thysdrus. A masterpiece of Roman Empire heritage on the African continent, accurately in the region of Mahdia, Tunisia.

18. Serengeti National Park

A place ideal habitat for millions of wildlife in Northern Tanzania.

19. Ha Long Bay

A beautiful bay in Vietnam, there are thousands of karst rocks and islands of green over blue coast.

20. Itukushima

A temple founded in the time of Empress Suiko. Situated on an island to the northwest of Japan. Better known as Miyajima Island.

21. Mikstaken Point

An ecological reserve located on the Newfoundland Peninsula precisely in the southeastern part of the island, the easternmost of Canada.

22. Zuojiang Huashan

The painting in the cliff formation which is located on the banks of the Ming River, is located in the southern province of Guangxi China.

23. Colonial City of Santo Domingo

An old city known as the colonial ciudad from the former Spanish colony, located in the southern part of the Dominican Republic's Hispaniola Island.

24. Wadi Al Hitan

A site of the paleontological site of fossil whales, also known as the whale valley, located southwest of the city of Cairo Egypt.

25. Mount Athos

The home of various eastern orthodox monks in the world, is a mountain as well as a cape in northeastern Greece.
